Bringing ideas to life is what I do. From small ideas to big designs, I like to translate a vision or design question into feasible and executable products. In doing so, I automatically take into account the impact on our environment in the solutions and materials chosen.

I have been making and improving things for as long as I can remember. From building tree houses in the garden, building all kinds of things with my LEGOs to repairing my own broken toys as a growing child. For the past 15 years, making and repairing things has been my job and hobby. I started my career at a renowned design agency in the Netherlands. Since 2018, I have been an independent designer and have joined Generous Minds to maximize the impact of my creativity and efforts.

GM project:
Redesign of the packaging for Vogel's new consumer products to eliminate all plastics, optimize logistics and minimize long-distance air transport. We achieved this with a concept of a packaging system based on molded fibers as padding for the products packed in cardboard boxes. Independent project:
For Scoozy, a unique personal mobility vehicle, I translated the design brief into a producible set of 3D files and drawings of all exterior parts. We made sure that the character and style of the design sketches is present in the final product while taking into account the limited possibilities of the chosen production method.

Office project:
Postal sorting aid for PostNL, one of my favorite projects during my work at the office. After condensing more than 100 functional requirements, many prototypes and a lot of hands-on mail sorting, a smart cart was born. It has more functionality than it seems at first glance. It helps PostNL to process large amounts of mail with less physical strain for the operators in a shorter time.

When I'm not working, I like to be with my family. Tinkering with and driving my classic car and oh I still love to play with LEGOs
